Outsourcing helps companies cut costs and grow their bottom line. But how does outsourcing benefit developing countries like the Philippines? 🤔
At Outsourcing Angel, we’re committed to living a life of love for others. One of the initiatives of the foundation is educating young children so as to give them a better hope and future through a partnership with Virlanie Foundation. We spoke to four of our staff that got involved and listened to what they have to say about their volunteer work.
The Outsourcing Angel team consists of a management team based in Sydney, Australia and Virtual Assistants based in the Philippines. Together, we have weekly video conferences and communicate online via messages and emails daily, but many of the Outsourcing Angel team members have yet to meet each other in person.
There’s one thing that anyone anywhere in the globe will hate instantly- a power outage. You’re at home watching TV or lounging in the living room and all a sudden the lights go out around you. Your blood pressure rises and the whole world goes dark- literally and figuratively.
Sharing love warms the heart, doing it for others empowers them to act compassionately as well, and sharing knowledge is giving one the chance to strive for long-term sustainability instead of short-term survival.
As an offshore staff, most VAs like myself are not used to clients asking us personal questions or even sitting down with us to spare some time just get to know us, our family, and least of them all – our plans about our the future.
Aside from clean water to drink, food is a primary need that we all need to have to survive. Being able to work and generate an income to buy necessities such as clothing, shelter, and education is also crucial.
May 2018, our loving company director Linh Podetti, visited the VA team and spent a meaningful time here in the Philippines making a difference and creating a great impact on each person she was able to meet.
The majestic city of Cebu is just one of the many places in the Philippines that is vibrant and full of life. During May of 2018, Outsourcing Angel’s co-founder Linh Podetti visited the city of Cebu to enjoy the sights, sounds, and the tastes while meeting up with the dynamic team of VAs.
One thing I admire the most about Outsourcing Angel is its advocacy to give to the less fortunate. They provide the same opportunities to their VAs in the Philippines, most importantly, the opportunity to generate hope in every struggle.
