Doing What We Love One Travel at a Time

The majestic city of Cebu is just one of the many places in the Philippines that is vibrant and full of life. During May of 2018, Outsourcing Angel’s co-founder Linh Podetti visited the city of Cebu to enjoy the sights, sounds, and the tastes while meeting up with the dynamic team of VAs. The team started off by visiting and enjoying tourist spots and enjoying the local fare of this city. The VAs, which are lovingly called Angels by the OA community, have gathered to welcome Linh and her team with the spirit of hospitality that the Filipinos are well-known for. What followed were a few short days of getting to know the team better, enjoying the company of good friends and being able to do good for some of the communities in Cebu. The team took the time off the enjoy scenic places and organised learning activities for individuals who are looking to make a career in the virtual assistance industry. Being able to impart knowledge and share our experiences with people willing to make a difference in their lives is the main thing that continues to inspire the community of Outsourcing Angel. After all, it is one of Outsourcing Angel’s corporate social responsibilities to be able to give back to others, to inspire them to step up and strive for a better life. The next leg of Outsourcing Angel’s mission to give back to the community was to visit the SOS Children’s Village Cebu. It is a sad reality in this world that children have to experience worries that should not be felt at such a young age. It is the wish of Outsourcing Angel to give them hope and to remind them that fortune favours those who work hard. It has been an absolute pleasure and delight to bring happiness to the children even if only for a short while. All in all, this trip has been a very rewarding and humbling experience that we wish to feel and take part in for as many times as we are able. We hope that in the future, Outsourcing Angel is able to reach out to even more people and inspire as many individuals as possible.
