For me, outsourcing is like ordering my favourite pizza. I pick up the phone, choose my pizza and in a few minutes, I am enjoying every slice of it. The same thing occurs with outsourcing; people ask me to find a service that they need, I look through a pool of talents and deliver that applicant to my contractor. My main role is to facilitate a smooth working relationship between my employer and employee. Many people ask me: Why venture into this kind of business? After all, the gamble that I have taken would spark curiosity from anyone. I consistently answer them with any of the following:
- Outsourcing is a great way of making people’s (especially employers) lives easier as they do not have to go through an applicant screening process personally.
- Outsourcing provides decent and steady income for highly qualified applicants that may find it hard to find a stable job elsewhere.
- Outsourcing offer equal opportunities for everyone regardless of educational level as it is solely based on skill and talent as evidenced by portfolios and samples.
- Outsourcing (especially online and home based) omits the hassles involved in setting up an office.
I have only written a number of reasons I normally use to justify the necessity of outsourcing in the business world but the list could go on. That is why I take pride in the fact that I founded Outsourcing Angel because I know that I have changed lives for the better because of this advocacy.
