On May the 17th, 2018 at a Café in Davao City, our founder, Ms. Linh Podetti shared her stories about how she started Outsourcing Angel and all the obstacles she faced along the way.
Being a virtual assistant can be difficult – it does, and it comes with a lot of challenges. Linh shares her own success story, her inspiration for her business and what drives her to grow the business and open opportunities for both our clients and our VAs to do love what they do and do more of what they can so that together, they can make their own success story. Sharing knowledge and inspiring the front liners can foster vision and reinforce professional ties.
Linh shares her experiences to help deepen the knowledge and engrains what another VA knows. She just didn’t sit down and tell stories, she was having an open conversation with all the VAs, and gave them chance to asked questions. Outsourcing Angels VAs also shared their stories and how the OA helped them. A constant sharing brings seemingly endless benefits to our professional careers. We all want to work in an environment that is fun, don’t we?
Many employees find themselves stuck in a boring workplace where no one seems to be enjoying themselves. Where your mind is fixed to just stare straight at the work in front of you and get the job done right away.

Linh discussed the value of Happiness, Passion & Love on one’s work, where everyone has a potential to turn their passion into work that they will love. Doing what you love is also finding happiness on what you are doing. Being a part of a VA for a span of time, you surely have some level of professional expertise. You can have your own unique set of skills, knowledge, and experience. Now, think about how your skills & knowledge will inspire and create an impact on other’s life? How will you motivate others? Deciding what you really want to do is tough but the real challenge is when you decide to start how will you get better at something if you don’t try?
You will say “I will just do it another day.” Well, another day may not come. If you do it, again and again, it will become a habit, well, everything we do in life becomes a habit. Changing how you think may help you to take actions. Your mind does not know how to differentiate between what is real and what is not. It is a great idea to create a motivation for yourself and after that, you will attract the right people, the right ideas, the right circumstance, and all that you need to become the someone you want to become. Success isn’t just about what you’ve accomplished in your life, not the materials things nor the successful career. It’s about what you inspire others to do!
Stop taking your life for granted. So, if you are willing to start a journey, if you are willing to experience challenges and trials so that later you can experience real happiness, you will be able to do what you love and be successful in it.
